New Year's (Late), and New Thoughts

Well, Happy New Year's! I know that I am late but I hope that everyone had a great New Year's!
I know that at the beginning of the New Year everyone makes resolution and promises, but everyone knows about half-way through the year that the resolution that you made at the beginning  of the year is forgotten. So, I am not making resolutions this year, but I am going to try and start working on my career. I know that I still have a long way away, but I can at least start to do something that will help in the end.  I am going to start getting books and reading, do some summer nursing programs, and just get familiar with what I am going into.
I think that its funny when you first meet someone, one of the questions that they ask you is "What do you want to be when you grow up"? I have always kinda knew that I wanted to be a doctor, but never really knew what kind of doctor. So, about a year ago I decided that I wanted to become and OBGYN Doctor. You may ask why, but I find that it is a great privilege to be that person or Doctor that helps bring a new life into the world. I know that so many people think that when you become a Doctor that there are so many liability's and know that if you make one wrong move or if someone dies that you can get sued, go to prison, or lose your license. I have worried about these things, but I have come to realize that God is in control and that He is always there to help all we have to do is ask. 
So, I know that I have a very long journey ahead of me, but I am ready to start that journey and become a Doctor. 

Christmas In North Carolina

We finally made it back in time for Christmas Eve. We had a great time in North Carolina and we were able to see family that we haven't seen in years! My sister Julia and her husband also came the day after us...in time for the Christmas re-union.
We stayed at my grandma's house...it was defiantly full of people and very HOT. We had fans going and doors open. But we all survived the heat!:) There were 21 people that came(oh and by the way this is my mom's side of the family) But here are some pictures and I hope that you are having a great Christmas Eve~

Christmas Snippets

So, I know it has been a while since I posted something, but the month of December is always the busiest for us. We have been busy with finishing school, Christmas shopping, church functions, and doing Christmas with family that we don't really see a lot. Plus we are getting ready to go to North Carolina this weekend to go and see family, while trying to finish up school.
School has been going well, but I am really looking forward to our Christmas break. Very excited:) But anyways here are some picture of us preparing and spending time with family and friends~

Christmas Photo's

We finally did our year in Christmas Photo's and they turned out great. We all loved them and can't wait to send them out to everyone.
So, it has been forever since I posted an update on the family so here it is~ Christmas season is the busiest season for our family. We stay busy by having Christmas Party's, doing family activities, baking, school, and visiting family. We have yet to still do all of these things! Decorating the Tree

So, tonight we decorated the tree! It was fun and full of laughs, cookies, and hot cocoa! (i also had to study:( But school is school. Here are some pictures~
